About The Game

Slime Rancher 2 is the sequel to the video game of the same name. As in the first part, here the main character is Beatrix LeBeau — a researcher who finds herself in the country of slimes, living lumps of slime. However, in the new game, the protagonist penetrates even further, entering into unknown lands. These territories contain numerous ruins and artifacts left by an unknown civilization, as well as new types of slimes. This is the plot to the main plot otherwise, the user is able to do whatever his heart desires. Slime Rancher 2 offers complete freedom of choice. For example, nothing will prevent the main character from building a farm, where she will peacefully study the local flora, fauna and breed new breeds.

However, materials for building a ranch, a garden, and other buildings will not be taken from the air. To do this, Beatrix needs to collect resources both standard ones, like wood and stone, and more exotic ones. The rarer this or that resource comes across, the more effective or valuable structure can be created from it. Slimes that live on local islands are spherical and liquid creatures with a cute appearance. For the most part, they are peaceful, but they are able to fend for themselves. These lumps of mucus are divided into several types each of them has its own characteristics. For example, some slugs move faster, while others are very durable. By mating individuals of different types, the player can get a hybrid that combines the advantages of both parents.
