Magenta Horizon is a 2D platform game with hack-n-slash elements. The game is inspired by such cult projects as Devil May Cry and Hollow Knight. The protagonist of the game is a grim reaper named Gretel. Events take place in the afterlife, which resembles purgatory. The story begins at the moment when the soul of Archibald awakens after 200 years of exile. The protagonist must send the villain back to the sarcophagus so that he does not appear from the underworld for several centuries.
