The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an action game designed for multiplayer. The game is based on the cult horror movie of 19741. It was developed by Gun Studio, which has already created Friday the 13th The Game, a game based on the slasher series. Kim Henkel, writer of the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, made suggestions while working on the game. This game breaks the gameplay concept known from asymmetrical multiplayer. If in other productions the fights take place in the 1 against many mode, then here the whole family of cannibals is on the side of the bad guys.

Cook, Hitchhiker or Leatherface each of these characters has unique abilities that give them an advantage over their victims, but also weaknesses that can be overcome by cooperating with other members of the killer family. The developers are also taking it one step further by introducing additional characters to the Slaughter family who don’t appear in the film. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre uses 3D graphics. The authors of the game took care of the exact recreation of locations and characters known to fans of the film, as well as the place and time in which the action of the original film took place. The soundtrack composed for the game is also based on the iconic score from the original 1974 film.
