Darkwood is a survival horror game set in a mysterious, ever-changing forest. Gameplay revolves around exploration, finding resources and crafting items to help you survive the fight against the terrifying creatures lurking in the dark. The user takes on the role of a nameless protagonist who wakes up in the forest with no memory of how he got there. His goal is to uncover the truth behind the strange phenomena in the forest while trying to survive the fight against the horrors that lurk in the shadows. The game mechanics include a day and night cycle, where during the day you can explore the forest, search for resources and create items, and at night creatures come out to hunt.
