Glyph — is a unique 3D platformer that carves its own path in the genre with an unconventional approach to platformer mechanics. You play as a beetle from an ancient civilization long gone. As one of the last of its kind, you bounce, jump and slide through stages in the hopes of reclaiming what was once lost. The highlight is that your travel mode consists of rolling into a ball and using physics and momentum to move. Think of Samus or Hammond, where momentum is your greatest strength and weakness. Making each level look like an icy level on a lava floor is a bold move, but developer Bolverk Games manages to exploit the unpredictability potential of such a mechanic for a satisfying experience.
