Emanate is a first-class platformer, ie a one-level vertical world. If you fall, you will have to repeat your steps to get back to where you were and continue to progress. The game starts slowly and measured, and by the end turns into an incredibly complex platformer with many mechanics that need to be remembered and adapted. This mechanic appears in front of you as you move, keeping you in shape as you climb to the top. The most common mechanics you will encounter are orange and red bounce cushions, purple cushions for jumping off walls and platforms that disappear from under your feet in a very short time. The combination of these simple mechanics encourages you to keep moving forward, creating incredibly complex and intense platformer gameplay.
