The game features detailed animations, complex gameplay systems inspired by the early Middle Ages, combined with magical, spiritual and other fantasy elements that are based in a very different reality than ours. Before starting the game, you have to choose a combination of character and school of magic. Each character has several positive or negative qualities, such as handicaps in certain studies, lower market prices, strong or weak soldiers, and much more. Your school of magic then determines which spells your mages will have access to.
