The plot tells about Prieur and his brother Culotte, who joined the ranks of the organization for the destruction of demons. They have just finished their studies and passed their exams. However, instead of gradually engaging in battle with simple tasks, the heroes are forced to plunge into a series of conspiracies, the source of which was a rival church.

Cornet’s party includes animated puppets and can also contain enemies who may want to join after the battles. The level of all fighters increases automatically after accumulating enough experience points. Encounters with enemies are random and battles take place on a tactical screen, requiring the player to move characters turn-by-turn and attack enemies within range of the characters weapons. Characters also learn magic and can use up to four different accessories in place of traditional weapons and armor.
