Sickly Days and Summer Traces follows a brother and his sister who spend the summer in the countryside. The girl goes to an estate to recover from her illness, leaving her brother as their only companion. Their days are spent away from the influence of the city, entirely defined by mutual communication in a secluded atmosphere. The young man takes on the role of a permanent guardian, organizing his life around her recovery and their life together.
