Italian studio LF Games has launched its debut project on Kickstarter, the platform puzzle Darwake Awakening from the Nightmare. It was created in a unique style, reminiscent of the films of Tim Burton and the works of Russian artist Anton Semyonov. The developers cite not only Burton as sources of inspiration, but also the aesthetics of American pop surrealism, David Lynch and even Carl Gustav Jung. In addition to the surreal atmosphere, complex and deep game mechanics await us. The main character of Darwake is a boy suffering from an incurable disease. And in oblivion he finds himself in a dark and creepy world, where he must find a way out of the labyrinth. In this he is helped by a strange creature, an owl, with whom he is in a symbiotic relationship. To succeed, the creators of Darwake need to raise 25 thousand euros. So far, the game has not attracted much interest from investors, but the studio still has 23 days before the final.
