American Arcadia is an original game with elements of an adventure game and an action platformer. It was developed by the indie studio Out of the Blue the authors of the Call of the Sea genre. American Arcadia takes us on a journey to an alternate version of the 1970s, more specifically to Arcadia, which is a retro-futuristic metropolis whose inhabitants live in peace and luxury. At least this is true in theory, because in practice they are unwittingly taking part in the world’s most popular reality show, in which their lives are broadcast 24 hours a day. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the decline in the popularity of one or another participant in the game is a death sentence. We play as two characters whose task is to find out the truth about Arcadia and escape from this terrible place.
