Backyard Baseball 01 is the second installment in the sports franchise, allowing players to assemble a roster of 30 Backyard kids and professional MLB athletes. The main objective is to alternate between going to bat and pitching to score runs while preventing the opposition from doing so. During the match, players can use 9 unique pitcher power-ups and 4 separate batter power-ups to influence the outcome of the rally. The title offers the option to customize team uniforms and develop strategies to fight for the championship title throughout the season.
