Demeo was originally announced last December and was developed by Resolution Games. Resolution is a specialized AR and VR game studio that has developed other games such as Blaston, Angry Birds VR Isle of Pigs, and Cook-Out. Their previous projects span many genres, but this is the company’s first attempt at classic fantasy. According to Resolution CEO Tommy Palm, the game has been in the making for decades.

The world called the Fifth Earth is gradually turning to ashes due to the active onslaught of dark forces. Practically the entire human army has been defeated by ferocious creatures emerging from the damp dungeons. Several heroes decided that if they could eliminate the source of all the problems, they could save their loved ones and homes. So, wielding all their strength, they descended into the grim mazes, helping those in need along the way. It turned out to be incredibly intricate and dangerous.
