Fretless The Wrath of Riffson is a turn-based RPG where players use riff-based instruments and techniques. The protagonist, Rob, a musician, works to restore harmony to a universe whose soundscape is being altered by villains. Rick Riffson, the head of Super Metal Records, seeks to dominate the entire sound sphere by trapping artists in soul-binding contracts as part of the Battle of the Bands competition. The player must control Rob and his companion to thwart Riffson's plans.
