Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate is a fast-paced action game completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 for smoother gameplay and flashier special attacks. Players choose one of four main characters — Mikoto, Waka, Itsuki, and Yuzuha — and battle through eight stages in parallel dimensions to save Waka’s kidnapped sister from the villainous Phantom. The combat system features fighting-like mechanics with a progression system in which players level up and unlock new skills by defeating enemies. The game supports both local multiplayer (up to 4 players) and cross-platform online with co-op (up to 6 players) and versus (up to 8 players) modes. A distinctive feature of the game is the ability to unlock and play as 38 different characters from the game universe, including enemies and bosses. Players can also choose between a brand new soundtrack from The Phantom Breakers or classic tracks from the original game.
