Die by the Blade is a specific hybrid of eras where samurai (or those who imitate them) fight each other in a cyberpunk world. Deserted streets, neighborhoods with reflections of neon lights in puddles, or mountain valleys - all this becomes the site of brutal battles. Each warrior has his own fighting style, so if a gamer wants to defeat each of the presented heroes, he needs to look for a unique strategy, memorizing signature combinations and coming up with his own combinations. Battles in Die by the Blade take place exclusively in 1v1 mode. The system is maximally tailored to combat mechanics, so every movement must be thought out in advance. This applies not only to strikes and blocks, but also to movement around the arena. So, in addition to walking in a stance with a raised weapon, you can use rolls forward, backward and to the sides.
