Star Vortex puts the player in control of a fighter pilot during a period of human conflict. An unidentified hostile force has emerged, targeting the fleets and demanding the flagship return to Earth with intelligence. The pilot's job is to secure the gate keys from the many space sectors needed by the mothership to complete the transit and deliver the warning. This journey involves navigating contested territories while defending the lead ship from constant attack.
