Lawgivers 2 is a geopolitical turn-based strategy game with deep mechanics. At the beginning of the game, it is possible to choose how to start a career start as a young activist or already appear as the leader of your own party. There are three optional ways to formalize victory: promote personal interests, one’s own political force, or national prestige. The main window of the interface shows a political map of the planet showing major powers, regional and state divisions, and cities. In each nation, constituencies are also shown. For the country, you can get detailed statistics, including GDP, foreign relations, military spending, population density and election results.

In Lawgivers II, the following gaming activities can be distinguished:

• Elections — at this stage it is necessary to lead the political force to victory by experimenting with strategies. Each nation has its own rules.
• Parliament/Congress — Once in these legislatures, you need to start electing key positions, including the speaker, as well as appoint representatives of the committees.
• Laws are a routine process of creating bills necessary to achieve one’s own, party or state goals. Resources are needed to approve them in parliament.
• Government — having achieved influence, you can try to get a portfolio of one of the ministries. And then try to take the post of president or prime minister.
• Lobby — you can help companies promote the necessary laws, thereby ensuring funding at their expense.
  War and trade — visiting other countries as the head of government, for the conclusion of strategic and trade agreements.
