Burden of Command does a great job of showcasing all aspects and horrors of war. The main character is just starting to serve as a company commander. The actions take place during the Second World War, so his future subordinates are known only from the most laconic cards of the general business, just as they know about their future command. The protagonist will have to earn their trust and at the same time concentrate on the tactics of fighting against the Nazis and liberating cities.

The leader needs to closely monitor the psychological state of his soldiers, take care of them and provide, if possible, with everything necessary, fulfilling personal requests. Otherwise, under the constant hail of shells, young fighters may begin to go crazy and panic from post-traumatic syndrome. In Bourdain of Command, the user will have to organize map sweeps and at the same time minimize losses on their part. Each soldier here is a separate person to whom you gradually begin to become attached and empathize.
