SCP Fragmented Minds is a first-person survival horror game set on Mars' Site-113, a massive SCP Foundation facility that has lost contact with Earth after a catastrophic near-extinction event. Players emerge from cryostasis as one of the last surviving personnel, tasked with navigating a facility overrun with escaped anomalous entities known as SCPs. The game combines combat and stealth mechanics, allowing players to fight hostile creatures with conventional weapons or use the SCP power.

The environment includes various zones with varying levels of danger, requiring players to use hacking, welding, and parkour abilities to progress. The narrative unfolds through player choices that influence the direction of the story, and the facility’s compromised state creates an atmosphere of paranoia and mistrust. Featuring graphic violence, gore, and psychological elements, the game is an intense survival experience in which players must adapt their strategies to overcome the facility’s dangerous inhabitants and uncover the truth behind its collapse.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!
After many months of hard work reworking every single system in the game from our Kickstarter demo over two years ago, we are finally ready to release SCP: Fragmented Minds Chapter 01 into Early Access! This has been an incredible experience for us from both a development and personal standpoint and we couldn't be happier to have shared this insane road with you all -- and we are so excited to keep pushing to a full 1.0 launch with your amazing support!
Chapter 01 is your introduction to the story, mechanics, and some of the various creatures and items you'll find around the facility, and as development goes on we will be adding new chapters as a free update featuring different SCPs, characters, weapons and upgrades to create a really memorable experience for players. At the bottom of this post (and on the Steam page) you'll see a roadmap of planned chapters and roughly which SCPs you'll encounter in which chapter so you have a good idea of where things will go through our journey in Early Access.
We can't wait for you all to finally enter into Site-113 for the very first time and start to meet the creatures and people that will shape your journey. There are some fun encounters in Chapter 01 and an especially fun ending section we hope you really enjoy.

Patch Notes - v0.12
These first three weeks have been awesome, and we are so excited to be gathering so much fantastic feedback! We’ve been working on optimization, navigation, and generally fixing some of the smaller issues players have been finding as they play their way through the game.
We’re also super excited about the new weapon mod that’ll make crafting MUCH more rewarding in Chapter 01 and beyond! Below you can find a detailed list of all the fixes in patch v0.12:

Subtitles: Fixed an issue where subtitles would get stuck when listening to an audio log via a computer and not exiting before the log ended.
Visuals:
Corrected shadow rendering for equipped items.
Fixed an issue where charged melee attacks played the same sound as normal attacks.
Performance:
Optimized Storage Room B to reduce lag spikes during loading.
Greatly optimized overall CPU usage.
Controls:
Fixed an issue where the controller couldn’t be used during dialogue choices.
Resolved an issue where interaction was allowed during cutscenes.
Inventory:
Items in the weapon wheel are now correctly removed if they are no longer in the inventory.
Fixed an issue where clicking the craft button without inserting components would quietly craft the item.
Subtitles: Corrected a couple of subtitle lines for accuracy.
