Caves of Qud is a roguelike game with an unusual mix of styles, such as: fantasy (ordinary swords and bows as murder weapons, combined with magic and wondrous creatures), post-apocalypse and science fiction. A special feature will be the choice of the protagonist before the start of each new save with their bonuses. The mutant gets unlimited space for various modifications, by receiving changes in his DNA, in other words, mutations, among which there is a second heart, a second head, wings, claws and much more. An ordinary person is more mobile, has a larger supply of pumping points for various attributes and a good initial set of armor, which makes the start of the game for a human representative easier.

The roguelike genre is known for the fact that the environment here is generated anew each time, due to which maximum diversity is achieved when starting from scratch to change the protagonist or pump a new build, because both main characters have extensive pumping trees to study in the process of exploring the world. The gameplay is based on finding different factions, into which society is divided in the post-apocalyptic world, to create friendly relations with some of them. It is achieved by completing assignments and quests for these communities, related to the murder of their enemies — members of other factions. Because of this, you need to choose whose side to stand on in the wonderful world of Caves of Qud.

A variety of build options gives a chance to create strange combinations without weaknesses. For example, a mutant that has 10 hands, and in each of them there is a deadly weapon, which allows you to fight off entire hordes of enemies, and a person has the ability to create an archer who kills with one shot. These are far from all the possibilities of non-linear pumping of this project.

Added new directional keybinds to autowalk to specific edges of the map.

Search text is now cleared when reopening the options or control bind menus.
