In Out of Sight, the gameplay is built around the need to act extremely carefully and attentively, studying the world around her. The player’s vision changes between how weakly the heroine herself perceives and the picture that her toy companion provides. Any careless movement, the slightest sound or accidental contact with an object can instantly give away her location to pursuers. Every action carries the risk of being caught, which will result in an unknown future. The walls of the building itself hide a story about what happened here long before she appeared.

Exploring the rooms, finding hidden passages and abandoned objects, you can gradually find clues about the horrors of the past. These findings show how the house has become a place marked by suffering and evil. She must piece together these fragments to uncover the circumstances of her imprisonment. In order to move forward and stay alive, it is important to assess where danger is coming from and use the environment to hide from those who seek it. Sometimes it is difficult to know what is real and what is only apparent, as perception can deceive, making survival tasks more difficult and causing psychological discomfort.
