Players have direct control over the business strategy of the institution, guiding its development and managing its assets. Key tasks include hiring employees for specific positions and monitoring the bank’s portfolio by approving or rejecting loan applications from clients.

Interaction with financial instruments in Bank Simulator occurs through investing the institution’s funds in bonds — a process that requires waiting for them to mature to generate a profit. This investment activity is balanced by the need to run promotions to attract new customers and build a reputation. The cash desk serves as the main point of contact with visitors, where staff handle daily operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and account openings.

Managing these operations occurs through interaction with the game using special tools: a bag for carrying cash and a tablet for tracking tasks and receiving rewards. In the title, reviewing loan applications is a key mechanic for managing risks in order to generate interest income. In addition to financial management, the gameplay allows you to change the physical environment of your bank. This includes arranging different furniture, choosing new color schemes, and modifying the floor plan to create a unique workspace.
