The game Anew The Distant Light — will open for you a unique extraterrestrial world. The main events unfold on the moon remote from our planet, where an attack on Earth is being prepared. Only your hero is able to prevent this attack, which will destroy all life. Embark on a small planet located at an impressive distance of 20 light-years from Earth. Here you must land in order to fulfill your primary purpose.

Explore the world around you in search of a weapon or a place where it can be. Avoid open clashes with local residents or try to act as stealthily as possible, otherwise they will raise an alarm. Move forward on the surface of an exotic planet, where you will meet different from our nature and advanced technologies. Local residents managed to build many high-tech complexes, from where the Earth is being monitored. One of these modules contains weapons, but it will not be easy to get to it. Overcome the fierce resistance of the guards, go down to the deepest bunker and turn off the guidance system, solving the most intricate puzzle.

In Anew, released for the PC platform, we play the role of a child who once wakes up alone on a moon orbiting an alien planet twenty light years from Earth. Our task is to complete a special mission and find the way home. Graphics contain many three-dimensional elements, but the gameplay mechanisms remain two-dimensional. The game attaches great importance to the fight against firearms, and the control system allows you to freely aim regardless of the direction of movement. The creators have prepared a large selection of weapons and an extensive gallery of enemies, the defeat of which requires the use of various tactics.

The game world has an open structure, and its research takes place both on foot and on several types of vehicles. During the game, you need to collect a variety of items to unlock new weapons, gadgets and skills. The authors drew inspiration from the category of platformer metroidvania, so at the beginning of the game many sections are inaccessible, and we can return to them only after receiving useful improvements.
