Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon Infinite Combate — is a Japanese RPG set in a fantasy world where various mythological deities live with mortals. The game was developed by the Japanese company 5pb., Which specializes in visual adventure and new music creation. The game is based on the fantasy manga published since 2013 by Fujino Omori, known by the same name. The novels were adapted into manga, animated motion pictures and two anime seasons, which were published in 2015 and 2019. The series also includes several different spin-offs and many different types of gadgets made for fans. The game takes place in a fantasy world in which various mythological gods such as Hermes, Hestia, Ishtar and Loki decide to forget the conflicts that separate them, abandon most of their powers.

Most of the gods live in the huge city of Orario. At its center is a powerful magic tower with a multi-level labyrinth of treasures and challenges for adventure seekers. The gods compete with each other, leading a guild of heroes, which they call families, who explore the labyrinth and earn money from the materials found in it. The plot, divided into chapters, overlaps with the plot presented in the first volumes of the manga series, as well as in the anime series. The main characters of the game are Bell Cranel, an aspiring adventurer, a member of the Hestia guild, and Ice Wallenstein, an experienced warrior who works for Loki and at the same time is Bell’s friend and mentor. The story was prepared in a form known from the visual adventures of the novel. Players observe mainly the dialogues and interactions of the characters, accompanied by animated portraits of the heroines.
