Griefhelm — is an entertaining and at the same time very difficult scrolling platformer, more like a fighting game, in which not superheroes and masters of various martial arts fight, but the real knights of the Middle Ages. And first of all, it is worth noting the fact that the developers themselves position their creation as a fencing simulator in which players can fight for life using medieval melee weapons. In other words, in Griefhelm you will find an endless series of battles with a variety of opponents, and even with melee weapons. But do not think that the idea is boring, because in fact it is quite interesting to participate in such unusual battles.

But everything starts in this game from the very bottom — you take control of the character. Dress him up in armor and go to the arena, where one of the many enemies will already be waiting for you. Well, then the battle itself, during which you can use strikes of different power and speed of inflicting damage. Speaking of the combat system, it is quite simple and allows you to create interesting combinations of strikes right on the go. You will have three types of blow at your disposal, and each type of blow can be performed both in the form of a reinforced blow and in the form of a simple blow. Everything the player needs to do.

This is to hold the hit button in order to inflict the corresponding increased damage. Jumps, flips, rolls and blocking attacks also work here. By the way, the game already has several battle modes. For example, there is a regular arcade mode in which the player fights against regular AI-controlled knights.
