In Geneforge 1 Mutagen, the player is free to create his own assistants and familiars.

It’s up to you to decide how he will look, what strength he will have, and what vulnerability will manifest. The gameplay process combines the beginnings of fantasy and science fiction. How to fight your opponents, and who exactly will become your enemy is up to the gamer to choose. The plot of the game is not straightforward. The user himself chooses in which direction to direct the story of the narrative. Become a liberator from tyranny, or oppress poor peasants, walk the path of a knight and fight evil, or study dark magic, create an army of minions and conquer the world with blood and fear. The player himself writes the history of the world, but there will be enough adventures on each of its branches.
