Flight of the Amazon Queen 25th Anniversary Edition — is an action-adventure game developed by Interactive Binary Illusions. The game takes place in 1941, and its main character is Joe King, a slightly discouraged young man who works as a pilot. The king’s life would be lazy if it weren’t for his natural tendency to get into all kinds of trouble. He just managed to avoid being killed by several kilograms of dynamite, but he is not allowed to take a break because the mafia is not going to let him go. In addition, King has a contract flight to South America with actress Fay Russell and is due to arrive at the airport before his biggest competitor. You yourself decide what happens next with the pilot. First of all, you need to free yourself from the hotel occupied by the mafia, get on a plane and take an exciting journey with Faye into the heart of the Amazon.

After a while, the engine breaks down and the plane crashes. Flight of the Amazon Queen uses a modified SCUMM interface developed by LucasArts. All verbal commands have been replaced with icons, which are unfortunately not very readable and can cause a lot of problems at first. As in other games of this type, all the items that King is carrying are visible at the bottom of the screen. It is worth mentioning that our hero carries a baseball bat like the whip in Indiana Jones, as well as a diary that is used to save progress.
