Sunblaze — is an adorable hardcore 2D platformer that takes its inspiration from Celeste, where you play as a young woman named Josie also known as Sunblaze who is trapped in her fathers superhero simulator. She is inexperienced, but she is fast and agile, able to hang on ledges, double jump, slide along the wall and dash in the air. To progress, you need to collect computer chips in each single-screen level, and when you do, the level magically transforms around you to instantly transport you to the next.

The current version of Sunblaze takes about an hour to complete, during which time you will die many times as it is a difficult but fair game. The bugs are not too frustrating as the restart is instantaneous and each level can usually be completed in seconds. The levels are very well designed, filled with activatable hazards and moving parts through which you need to find the best route. They test not only your platforming skills, but also your puzzle solving skills. This is a fantastic platformer with a funny storyline, cute characters, smooth gameplay and original level design. The way each level progresses to the next is a fantastic game element and it makes the game very addictive after all, after seeing a level, how can you not try to beat.
