About The Game
The Legend of Tianding — is a fun 2D side-scrolling action game inspired by Chinese manga. Fight the Japanese invaders with kung fu and free Taipei from colonial rule. The game is based on real events that took place at the beginning of the 20th century. You will play as Liao Tianding, the national hero of Taiwan, who is called by many as Taiwans Robin Hood. He fought oppressive Japanese rulers, robbed the rich, fed the poor and fought for justice on the streets of Taipei, and in this game you have to do it too.In The Legend of Tianding, you will fight with tantos, belt and fast kung fu in carefully tuned technical combat. Perform challenging aerial combos, steal weapons from enemies, use your belt and grappling hook to fly across the battlefield, and strike fear into the hearts of your enemies. Face off against incredible bosses such as deadly courtesans, greedy businessmen and even warlords, each guaranteed to challenge you with their dynamic abilities and brutal attacks. Explore the Dadaocheng District of Taipei City as it looked in the early 1900s.
Run through colorful streets, ride a speeding train and escape through dark sewers all done in the style of traditional Chinese manga. Customize Liao Tianding to your playstyle with various talismans! These magical items give you bonuses like restoring more health with food, faster stamina regeneration, or even reducing the damage you take.
