Which abilities to use will be decided by means of character cards. The battles are performed in a turn-based style, where each of your actions, be it an attack, defense, or special abilities, is determined by a dropped card. In addition to battles, you will also have to improve your characters, explore vast locations, and buy equipment on the black market.
