Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party is an action-adventure game infused with multiplayer party dynamics. Developed by Smart Fairy Tale and published by Microids, it draws inspiration from the beloved 1990s animated series, Inspector Gadget. At the heart of this game is the eponymous hero, Inspector Gadget, a cyborg detective equipped with an array of gadgets built into his body. When the sinister Dr.Claw and his M.A.D. agents seize control of Metro City, Inspector Gadget embarks on a time-traveling mission to safeguard the city’s future. Unfortunately, a malfunction in the time machine results in Gadget’s ancestors being stranded in the present. To restore order in Metro City, Gadget must first repair the time machine, send his ancestors back to their rightful era, and thwart Dr. Claws sinister plans.

Players will navigate the city, tackle quests, and search for components of the time machine. This task is made challenging by the presence of Gadget’s wandering ancestors, with whom he must contend. Fortunately, Gadget can utilize an assortment of gadgets tailored for various situations. The game offers 16 mini-games inspired by Gadget’s adventures, putting players' dexterity and reflexes to the test. Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party accommodates both single-player and multiplayer modes for up to four participants. Staying true to the original television series, Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party boasts a vibrant, cartoonish art style. The soundtrack, composed by Tanis Chalopin, the daughter of Jean Chalopin, the series' creator, adds an authentic touch to the gaming experience.
