Before They Wake is a unique and chilling third-person horror game set in the summer of 1984. Your goal is to guide Alfred through nightmarish corridors, using the creaking wheelchair as your only means of escape. The game’s core mechanic revolves around noise management, as every move risks alerting the horrors sleeping within the walls.

A reactive audio meter tracks the sounds you make, adding tension to every decision. The game features a VHS-style visual style that enhances the 80s nostalgia and maintains the terrifying atmosphere. With time running out and mutants lurking in every shadow, Before They Wake is a short but intense horror experience that challenges players to find a unique balance between speed and stealth.
