Ravenous is a unique indie action game where you play as Enlil, a mysterious raven on a mission to rescue his friends who have been captured by robots. The game features innovative roll action mechanics where you can rotate both your character and the environment to create strategic combat opportunities. Using gravity manipulation, you can turn obstacles into weapons, rotating the world and crushing enemies. The gameplay loop involves destroying enemy generators to unlock power upgrades, and a persistent power-up system allows you to use items from completed quests to become stronger. Each dungeon culminates in challenging boss or enemy battles that test your mastery of the roll mechanics and acquired abilities. It’s a fresh take on the action genre, combining thoughtful combat positioning with environmental manipulation.
