The title combines colony simulation procedures with turn-based tactical decisions during certain events. Resource extraction in Kaya’s Prophecy occurs through the acquisition of sets of cards that provide a variety of materials essential for settlement growth and technological progress.

In addition, the relationship with the supervising god must be diligently managed, most notably by regularly providing sufficient food offerings.
