Out and About drops you into the town of Portobello after a devastating storm. The main objective is to help restore the community by interacting with the surrounding natural landscape. To do this, you will have to collect resources in the wild, as well as study the local flora and mushrooms. Your actions directly contribute to the restoration of the settlement, while its inhabitants unite in the desire for self-sufficiency.

The main activities for a budding naturalist:

• Collecting wild plants and mushrooms.
• Preparing dishes and remedies according to real recipes.
• Exploring an open world with various natural areas.
• Helping the inhabitants of the town restore their way of life.
• Creating a unique image for your character.

The key aspect of Out and About is its basis in real botany and herbalism. Gamers will have to learn to recognize over 100 species of plants and mushrooms, receiving information with practical application outside the title. The project includes 150 specific recipes for dishes and herbal infusions to help various townspeople. Instructions are also provided on how to create these culinary items and tools in your home kitchen.

The gameplay takes place in an open world that can be explored without restrictions. This universe contains various biomes, including dense forests, wide grasslands, coastal beaches, and wetlands. You control the protagonist, customizing his appearance with different hairstyles and outfits. This game is designed for single-player play, during which you will have to gather and make friends with the inhabitants.
