About The Game
A Bumpy Ride is a seemingly calm train game that quickly becomes more than just a stroll. You're the sole controller of the locomotive, accepting orders and deciding where to go next. The map doesn't provide ready-made answers, so you often have to navigate almost blindly, relying on other people's requests and your own sense of risk. Sometimes a route seems safe, but ultimately leads to a place where everything goes wrong.
The movement never stops, and mistakes begin to follow you. You need to monitor the condition of the train, maintain control on the road, and quickly react to situations that arise without warning. Passengers can send you to strange places, and it's not always clear whether you should go there. Decisions are made on the fly, and this is what creates the feeling that you're actually driving the train, not just choosing a destination.
Over time, the train ceases to be just a means of transportation. You begin to customize it to your needs, changing cars and trying out different configurations. This affects not only the appearance but also the ride itself. One choice makes the route more relaxing, another more risky but more profitable. All this adds up to a personal driving style that feels different on every trip.
