About The Game
Crawling Lab is an action roguelike set in a secret laboratory built by Selen Industry deep in the mountains. The story centers on the protagonist's mission to retrieve valuable research materials from the lab. However, an unexpected accident leaves them alone in the facility, now controlled by an artificial intelligence known as the Crawl Queen, which has captured a newly developed artificial life form known as Biodolls.
Players navigate the lab, battling various enemies and upgrading their weapons to survive. The ultimate goal is to defeat the Crawl Queen's minions and escape the lab. This process involves stocking up on ammunition, using various weapons, and enhancing abilities with a variety of upgrades. The lab environment presents numerous challenges, including hostile Biodolls and AI-controlled security systems. Campaign mechanics focus on strategic combat and resource management. Players must carefully select upgrades and plan their attacks to progress through increasingly difficult levels. Each playthrough is unique, with procedurally generated challenges and rewards.
During the game, you can navigate the laboratory, avoiding or defeating hostile bio-dolls controlled by the Crawling Queen. You can also collect research materials and valuable resources scattered throughout the locations. Upgrading weapons and abilities increases your effectiveness against powerful enemies. Strategically managing your ammo and health helps you survive long battles. Exploring various sections of the laboratory reveals hidden secrets and additional upgrades. Overcoming security systems and AI traps slows progress, but planning your escape routes helps you overcome random events and enemy ambushes.
