The game is structured around a calendar. Each week you choose activities. Attend court to gain influence. Train at the academy to raise your skills. Visit the market to buy gifts for allies. Spend time with a secret lover. Every choice changes your stats. Too much studying and you become a bookworm who cannot dance. Too much partying and you are popular but ignorant. The latest version of the game adds a new legacy system where your child inherits some of your skills, encouraging multiple playthroughs.
