About The Game

Seal of Shadows is a 2D hack and slash ARPG developed and published by Cris Litvin in 2026, inspired by the golden age of arcade brawlers and built for both solo play and local cooperative sessions. Players choose from three distinct character classes, each with its own combat style covering melee, ranged, and arcane disciplines, and fight through a hand-crafted campaign that runs over 20 hours from start to finish. The core gameplay loop combines fast-paced dungeon crawling with loot collection, character customization, and escalating enemy encounters across a dark fantasy world. Seal of Shadows supports up to three players in local co-op with a seamless drop-in system that allows friends to join or leave an active session at any point without interrupting combat or forcing a restart.

Each class responds differently to enemy types and environments, encouraging players to experiment with builds and coordinate their abilities when playing together. Cris Litvin designed the campaign with replayability in mind, giving each class a distinct enough feel that running through the story a second time with a different character remains a worthwhile experience. The game runs on Windows 10 and requires at minimum an Intel Dual Core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card, with 14GB of storage space needed.
