The remaster of Sam and Max Save the World — was created by Skunkape Games, which includes the authors of the original game. They were reprinting with the approval of Steve Purcell, creator of the Sam & Max series. The remaster Sam and Max Save the World added updated graphics, support for widescreen resolutions and modern gamepads, as well as five new music tracks. The creators promise improved graphics, updated sound and several additional tracks in the soundtrack. The game will support widescreen monitors and gamepads.

Sam and Max Save the World — draws a lot of ideas from the solutions presented in the iconic Lucas Arts adventure. The action is shown here from various «cinematic» shots, and the core of the game is solving puzzles. Puzzles are primarily about finding and using certain objects in a certain way. In addition, Sam and Max often interrupt chats with characters they meet, which not only provides a valuable source of clues, but also often sheds new light on the matter. During the game, we visit several different places between which we travel by car; we also use the car for several chase sections. This game has eye-pleasing graphics in a colorful cartoon style.

While working on the remaster, the authors worked to improve its quality. The creators have improved textures and lighting, as well as support for panoramic resolutions. In addition, the soundtrack has been replenished with five new pieces of music. Remaster Sam and Max Save the World, we play the role of the main characters who have to put an end to the intrigue that threatens the whole world. The authors not only modernized the graphics, but also enriched the soundtrack with new songs.
