Star Dynasties — is a challenging turn-based strategy game enriched with RPG and simulation elements. The game was developed by the independent British studio Pawley Games and released by Iceberg Interactive, known for their Starpoint Gemini genre game. Star Dynasties begins in the 22nd century. Our civilization has reached a high enough level of development to begin the difficult process of colonizing the galaxy. Humans set up their outposts in various planetary systems, using them as transfer stations or mining enterprises. Unfortunately, as a result of a space catastrophe, the Earth was destroyed, which not only stopped the development of individual colonies, but also largely threw them back into the Middle Ages.

A few hundred years later, feudalism reigns in the galaxy, with individual colonies acting as subjects for factions that unite them under a common banner, which in turn serve the great alliances even higher in the hierarchy. During the game, we play the role of the leader of one of the factions, and our task is to create a dynasty and do everything so that it can not only survive, but also constantly develop. Since the story in the game is procedurally generated, our choices, relationships with other factions, and political intrigue decide how it ends. In Star Dynasties, the game unfolds in turn-based mode on an expansive strategic map, which depicts various planetary systems and the spheres of influence of specific factions. Before starting the game, we create our character, but we must remember that he is only the core of the dynasty which should rule our faction for generations, and when he dies, his descendants will take over.

The game is based on our relationships with other groups and various personalities in the galaxy pulling strings. Their intrigues and events are generated based on their characteristics, which makes each game unique. Our decisions also affect our position in the galaxy, the direction and speed of our development, and determine how we are perceived by the inhabitants of our colonies. We can strengthen our position through conquest or diplomacy. Other leaders can be persuaded to cooperate through successful negotiations or political marriages between members of our dynasties, as well as less polite methods such as threats or blackmail. You can learn about the strengths and weaknesses of your political rivals or potential allies by using spies who can reveal their secrets. However, this is worth watching closely, as others may decide to take a similar step against us.

How to Install the Game
