DRAMAtical Murder — in Midorijima, an island southwest of the Japanese islands, humanity and nature once coexisted on the bountiful island. However, thanks to the purchase by the Toue Company, a powerful corporation in Japan, one third of the island has been transformed into an extravagant entertainment facility called the Platinum Jail. Platinum Jail has brought attention to the latest cutting-edge technology. On the other hand, islanders who have been victims of violent development are forced into the area of former residents and have no choice but to live their lives in a place that is by no means prosperous.

The protagonist, Aoba, spends his days working part-time at a trash store called Heibon, in a former residents' area, living with his grandmother Tae. Among the youth of the area of former residents, a certain game has become popular. In Liebstiez, teams are formed and the days of man-and-bullet turf wars unfold. On the other hand, Rhyme is an online electronic brain game that uses the virtual world as a setting.
