The developers increased the number of targets during the game and added skateboarding tricks that only appeared in the later parts of the games. We’re talking about tricks like throwbacks, lip tricks, and planting walls. The gameplay mechanics have remained unchanged. For completing tasks and tricks in the hundreds we get money, thanks to which we develop our skaters and can buy new skateboards. This makes it easier for the player to perform more and more difficult feats. In both versions of Tony Hawks Pro Skater, you can play single player, multiplayer, or cooperative split-screen mode. There are also Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater editors, which are expanded to the original, where you can create unique skate parks and your own skaters, and then share the results of your work with other players.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 is more than just a classic remaster. The games have been developed from the ground up on a new engine to keep the graphics up to date. The changes are not limited to higher resolution 4K on PC and smooth images 60 frames per second and HDR support. Both parts boast high-quality textures, character models and animations, or modern lighting techniques. The updated versions of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 also include modern features such as the ability to quickly load levels after unsuccessful actions.
