Action Not Tonight 2 takes place in the USA of an alternative near future. As a result of unregulated capitalism and rampant social problems, the country has become a dystopia. There are frequent protests on the streets of the cities against the current system. During one of them, a foreign citizen, Eduardo Suarez, was arrested. Due to the lack of the necessary documents, Suarez is sent to deportation. Takes on the role of his friends, Malik, Kevin and Marie.

They set off on a journey through a dystopian country to find Eduardo’s documents and save him from deportation. In Not Tonight 2, the player’s task is to cross the United States and get to Miami, where Eduardo is being held. To fund the expedition, the protagonists must find temporary work in every city they visit. They leverage their experience as a bouncer in front of clubs, racetracks, casinos and cults. The bouncer’s job is reminiscent of the inspector in Papers, Please. Our task is to check the documentation of the guests of the premises, identify violations and decide whether to let the client in or let go. Depending on where we work at the moment, we get well-paid additional tasks.
