The old-school nature of the game is also emphasized by 90s-style mechanics, including the lack of health regeneration only classic health kits are available. At the same time, the creators took an example from more modern mechanics. We owe them, in particular, the weapon upgrade system and the greater emphasis on climate and story exploration.

Selaco offers nothing but a single player mode. The game is divided into levels, and completing each level will unlock the level in what is known as the invasion mode.
