About The Game

The Anacrusis is a first-person shooter designed for co-op play. The game was developed by independent studio Stray Bombay. The Anacrusis takes us to the distant future, when humanity has fulfilled its dream of space colonization. Expeditions sent to the farthest corners of the galaxy found no trace of alien life forms, so civilization could develop peacefully while falling into growing complacency. The situation changed dramatically when the first contact with hostile aliens occurred. The unfortunate ones who got in their way had no choice but to fight for their lives.

The Anacrusis, we’re watching first person action FPP. During the game, we fight off larger and stronger hordes of enemies. On our way there are both ordinary opponents attacking en masse, and their much stronger bosses. We destroy enemies using a vast futuristic arsenal. In addition to various weapons, we have useful gadgets at our disposal, such as a shield grenade that provides temporary protection, or a Respawner that allows you to resurrect fallen allies. During the game, we also get various perks that give us an additional advantage on the battlefield.

A special system AI Driver controls the gameplay its goal is to provide an appropriate level of difficulty regardless of the skill of the players and to make each game unique. It analyzes our play style and, based on the information received, places enemies on the map and disperses weapons, gadgets and health kits, and also directs the actions of the bosses. Moreover, if we play with people who have made less progress in the story than we do, it ensures that they do not run into spoilers. While The Anacrusis lets you play alone, the game spreads its wings in a co-op mode that can be played by up to four people thanks to being cross-platform regardless of the platform you own. The Anacrusis has colorful graphics, designed in a style reminiscent of science fiction films from the early second half of the 20th century.
