The plot in LEGO DC Super-Villains begins with the disappearance of the Justice League. In the absence of defenders, all the bandits rejoiced and began to commit excesses. However, the Crime Syndicate soon appeared a group of superheroes from Earth-3, who turn out to be even more evil than the local bandits, and take all power for themselves. And the old villains unite in the face of a new threat and try to find the missing heroes in order to return life to its previous course.

As in other products from this developer studio, there is a campaign and a free play mode. This allows you to go through the story first, and then return to previously visited locations to find all the secrets. It will not work right away, because you need characters with certain skills to get to special places. The range of available anti-heroes is constantly expanding as you progress. In terms of gameplay, the title is largely similar to its predecessors. This is an adventure action game where you have to fight with opponents, overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, break everything around and collect objects from parts. During fights, you can use super skills and perform finishing moves. This LEGO adaptation introduces a choice of difficulty levels. By tradition, there is a local multiplayer that allows you to play together on one computer. Between missions, gamers are released into an open world where they can swim in boats, fly, drive cars, and chase policemen.
