HARVESTELLA is a role-playing game enriched with life simulation elements. Square Enix is ​​responsible for the development and release of this game. Harvestella takes us on a journey into a fantasy world where balance is provided by four powerful crystals known as Seaslight. The former peace and harmony are gone when the change of the year is accompanied by a cataclysm known as the Quietus, during which the world is covered with deadly dust that threatens all life. The situation is complicated by the fact that each subsequent Quietus lasts longer than the previous one. In the course of the game, we play as a character who wakes up in an isolated village during one of the Quietus. From that moment on, her task becomes to unravel the mystery of the cyclic catastrophe that haunts this world, and to cope with it before all life becomes its victim.

Fortunately, she is not doomed to a lonely journey, as she meets numerous companions along the way led by a girl named Aria, met shortly after awakening, who has arrived from the future and is investigating the mysteries of Quietus. In the game Harvestell, we watch what is happening from the perspective of a third person TPP. We have a huge land at our disposal, consisting of various locations. Among them are the beautiful city of Nemea, the coastal city of Chatolla, the picturesque village of Lete or, finally, the impressive capital of Argen. In addition, there is no shortage of open or extensive dungeons. Over time, we also acquire a boat that allows us to navigate the ocean. We move between locations using the world map. During the game, we travel the earth, have conversations with its inhabitants and perform various tasks. In addition, during the adventure, we often encounter enemies with whom we enter into dynamic battles. We destroy the enemies we meet using white weapons and magic, and the key to success is to find the weak points of each opponent.

The key to success is to find the weak points of each enemy. However, the story does not end there, because we also have to manage our own farm, which means cultivating the land and raising animals. We can sell crops and use the money we earn to develop our farm or buy better equipment. In addition, the game has a system of crafts, with which we can cook a variety of dishes they give us various buffs that are indispensable on the battlefield and create useful items. The rhythm of life in the game world is determined by the seasons, which change every 30 days. It is worth remembering that each such shift is accompanied by the passage of Quietus, during which the inhabitants are afraid to leave their homes, and the plants growing in the fields begin to wither. The graphic design of the game Harvestella is designed in a colorful, anime style.
