The Chant is an impressive mix of adventure, horror and survival with a well-thought-out story. The story begins with the fact that the main character named Jessica is experiencing emotional burnout at work. To restore her nerves, she decides to immerse herself in meditation on a distant island, where a group of specialists gather just for this. Just in this place, the commune of flower children once disappeared, which settled in those forests. As a result, during classes, they jokingly perform a ritual and the townsfolk manage to open a portal to the Darkness. This is a terrible parallel dimension that absorbs all the negativity from people and throws monsters into the real space. It is with them that the main character has to fight.

Although the protagonist Song lacks combat skills, she still struggles to face the otherworldly threat. To do this, sometimes go hide, and also look for materials to craft weapons and have a chance to defeat your demons. In addition to paranormal creatures, there will also be quite familiar adversaries in the form of cultists who worship dark beings. This story is divided into seven chapters, which will surprise you with unexpected twists and turns. To stay alive, it will be necessary to maintain three indicators in the norm: Health, Spirit and Mind. If the nerves are too damaged, then you can go crazy, so you need to meditate from time to time in order to exchange a little spiritual strength for peace of mind, because the environment around and encounters with creatures negatively affect the psyche of ordinary people.
